Make your own nail polish stickers

I’m a big fan of nail stickers. One of my recent DIY manicure’s of the week used the Sally Hansen black and white houndstooth design. The stickers are great! Made with real nail polish and gives you a design or look that you might not have even been able to get at the salon and definitely saves you the cost! But what if you can’t find, say, your school/teams specific color? Or you want something even more one of a kind tailored to you. Well, I’ve found a way to make your own! Gather up a roll of tape, your favorite colors and some scissors.

Take your polish and paint strips of color right onto the top of the tape.

Wait a few minutes for the polish to dry and cut the strips into WHATEVER shape you want!

I cut mine into simple strips for a quick demonstration, but the possibilities are literally endless. Use shaped hole punches for more intricate details, cut basic strips and triangles for a geometric design, paint your nail a base color and lay stickers on top of that or use the stickers to cover your whole nail. And, of course, don’t forget to finish with your top coat.

Tell me this isn’t one of the best ideas ever! Let me know what you think! What ideas has it sparked in your mind?
