DIY egg white mask

It is said that Cleopatra and the Empresses of Asian used egg whites as part of their beauty routines. What’s good enough for a queen, is good enough for me!

Egg whites are great for the skin. They’ve been proven to tighten, shrink pores and help rid acne. If you want to do a quick, cheap, easy and effective spa facial treatment at home, then start with the egg.

I kept it simple by just using one egg white.

Whip that to a light froth and then use a clean makeup brush to paint it on your face; I did a few coats on mine.

You can feel it working as it dries, your skin tingles and tightens.

Allow it about 10-15 minutes to fully dry then massage it off with warm water and a wash cloth.

The best part of DIY face masks is that you can tailor it to your own skin needs. If you have dry skin, add in a few drops of olive oil or plain Greek yogurt. To help brighten your skin tone, add in some fresh squeezed lemon juice. If you have sensitive skin, add some honey. Make it to what you need!

This home spa treatment is now a go to treatment for me. Try it out and let me know what you think!

Champagne is delicious, gorgeous shoes are a must, family fun is important, but the piggy bank still has to be fed
