My week in review
I’m soo thrilled, I just have to share with you all! I was voted 3rd top blog/blogger in San Antonio according to the San Antonio Currents “best of” poll!
I can’t express enough how much this means to me! I’m so excited to have the support and votes from the city and from friends, family and followers around the world!
I’m truly passionate about writing and sharing my life with you through my blog, and if one person is legitimately interested and an avid reader, then I’m happy!
Big congrats to winner Stephanie Guerra at Puro Pinche.
And 2nd place, Tori Foster Johnson, friend and fellow fashion & mommy lifestyle blogger, at The sToribook.
I love how women are dominating this category!

I have a mane of hair in every sense of the word. It incredibly thick, naturally wavy and even though I’ve chopped about 6 inches off, it’s still medium length. It’s the kind of hair, that when done right, is that shampoo commercial kind of hair that people always tell me they love and wish they had.
I don’t say this in a bragging way, I say this in a, oh if you only knew, kind of way.
With the thickness, and waves comes the frizz! There hasn’t been a shampoo & conditioner combo that I’ve yet to use to tame my mane. Nothing until I tried garnier hydra recharge!
Forget the fact that it smells so good that even the hubbs noticed it, this stuff really works! I’ve been using it for about a month now, but there were immediate results! The FIRST time I used it and let my hair air dry, there was such a noticeable difference in how it tamed my frizz and accented my waves that I was ridiculously excited about it!
Straight air dried from the shower! No product in it. NOTHING!
I’ve 100% made the switch from my old brand to the garnier hydra recharge.
If you have an untamable mane with frizz out of control, tame it with garnier!

You don’t think you need one until you need one. A bottle brush. It’s usually not on anyone’s baby registry, but it’s one of those, never think about it, essentials.
I have a great one from Nuby.
I love that this Nuby nipple and bottle brush has both in one. The nipple brush oh so conveniently stores inside the handle of the bottle brush and it all sticks together with a suction cup base.
Another added feature that I like better than my last bottle brush is the different bristles and even a sponge ring in between the bristles.
It may not seem like much, but it really helps in sudsing the soap to better clean the bottle.
And make sure to Iike them on facebook!
